@SuperThrasher77 Pride in what? That you've used your privilege to oppress and exclude everyone else? Gay pride is a means of affirming oneself in the midst of one's oppression and constant degradation. You are at the center of privilege and power and thus have no need for it.

You know what would make me happy? If Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Joanna Lumley or some combination of these were contestants on the show. I like Miranda quite a bit, but these women are so much funnier.

I loved this movie but I thought the ending in the book was much better. Half of the Heathcliff-Catherine romance was loving and the other half was spiteful/vengeful---all of it was passionate. When Heathcliff dies at the end of the book, it's left ambiguous as to whether they were happily reunit...

I can't believe all of the comments on this video are praising everyone but Jessica Tandy (even Gregory Peck?). I think her Oscar was well-deserved and that Tandy is a genius!

Every time I see this scene I wish I was there so I could help the woman out.
