@mjm8686 I don't think Bruce was the problem. He was hitting notes he hadn't hit for over 10 years. But I think the entire band was getting both sloppy and uninspired. Especially Dave and Janick. Their sound mixing from that time was terrible also. Donington, Real Live & Dead One and Raising Hell...

@Stngds9ve That might have been a fake live recording. It was done a lot back in the days by all the big bands. Maiden, Kiss, Deep Purple etc. Not everything was recorded in the studio though, mostly just vocals.

This actually wasn't too bad. The version I had heard before (with Gillan) was worse. Dio and Gillan were two totally different singers. Dio couldn't possibly sing things like Child In Time, and Gillan couldn't do songs like these.

@consolegamer2020 He "opens up" his throat, so that it's easier to hit the high notes.

@Deavi783 Since it's out of print, I can mention that I've found the whole score on the internet. I always listen to it while playing horror games.

@Legionbass19 Rob Halford is amazing. But he can't do Dio songs, it doesn't sound good at all. Check out Sabbath bootlegs with Halford to hear what I mean.

Cool post! Isn't this the same concert/tv-show Iron Maiden and a few other bands played at? If it is, it explains why it was short.

This game had very impressive visuals for it's time. Still looks pretty ok.

@TVismyopiate I would totally agree with you, if Maiden had sold out and started playing grunge or nu-metal. Like Dickinson did with Skunkworks. But Maiden, even though they don't sound EXACTLY the same as in the 80's, has always stuck with their guns and their own style. Their new music is amazi...

This might look dated as hell now, but back then this was like entering the star wars universe for real.

For the new Black Sabbath album, they should do a new version of the song that sounds like this. That would have been AMAZING!

@Dave102693 He is mostly known for being the last singer of Rainbow. He was also almost the singer for Iron Maiden back in the mid-90's, but lost the job to Blaze Bayley.

Extremely good. Have never liked a non-english metal song before, but this was just amazing.

I absolutely love Kiss! I hope they keeping it going for a long, long time. But it's a damn shame about Paul Stanley's voice, 15 years ago he was at his absolute peak. There wasn't a note he couldn't hit. Now his voice cracks when singing "Hard Luck Woman".

I love this song, but has anybody noticed how they sing "walk with meat" towards the end?

@ForcheAlex Hell to da yeah! It's a damn shame that there hasn't been released any x-wing games for a long, long time. I thought rogue squadron was the start of something, not the end. Even just a HD version of this game had been enough.

I like this change. Sounds scarier. The last one wasn't any good, you didn't understand why the Tusken Raiders was frightened by it.

It's ok to hate this change. (we all do) But don't let it ruin your experience if you're getting the blu-rays. It's still 99% of the original material.

I've seen this movie 100 times since the 80's, but I never would have noticed the blinking if you guys hadn't pointed it out.

Deris is a kick ass singer! He's been in the band for nearly 20 years, and have released many amazing albums with them. But he seriously should stay clear of the Kiske songs.

A couple of songs is ok, to please the old fans. But as long Deris is in the band (and I hope he will be for a long time...

It's most definitely a mix between Vaders "no, leave them to me" from ROTJ and Vader's "noooo" from Revenge of the Sith. So either is this fake, or Lucasfilm is extremely sloppy.

@DACOWLES Seems like Maiden's soundmen have huge problems with the lead vocals at the start of the show. It's been a problem many times (at least the last 5-6 years) I don't get it.
