Live performance of this piece? Just search on youtube. Off the top of my head, I know Roman Simovic and Liviu Prunaru both have videos of live performances, and there are many others. You don't have to sound as if this piece is "impossible" to play live.

Why does he always look to his right when he plays? Is he winking at a particular girl in the audience? If he focused more on playing, and less on looking around, then he might have given a better performance. Here he just winged it, a very half-hearted attempt, honestly a pretty bad performance ...

Understandable, but my view is: If the piece is too difficult technique-wise, then I choose an easier piece, or modify the piece to make it easier. I would rather give a clean polished performance of an easy piece, rather than stumble through a challenging piece with out-of-tune ...

It depends on what you are comparing this to. I wouldn't call it "horrible," it's definitely a professional violinist playing this (either that or a very good student). But it's certainly not a top-notch soloist. Also it sounds like the violinist CAN play better, but got a little lazy...
