In this world where personal identity is lost,Satanism represents a special kind of rebellion against hierarchy,imposed system,just like Azazel who turned against god,and for a reason became known as Lucifer - luconosa.Many are wrong when they interpret his rebellion as an attack on the throne.As the highest angel,Lucifer was different from other angels and on his own will he decided to break away from that ocean of light,eternal stagnation and blindness,and work on strengthening individuality through the fall into darkness and finding and developing inner light of wisdom and knowledge.Also Lucifer,whose element is Fire,didn't want to bow to the man whose element is Earth and as such is lower on the scale of evolution (literal interpretation of the myth).But he gave the man ability to develop,gave him personal will,conscience,cognition of good and evil.That is the Promethean spark in us.The ability to use our full potential.Lucifer / Ahriman / Set are,to me,invisible forces and state of mind of divine mask that becomes visible through us,human being that is willing to accept them and they are expression of our individuality therefore every manifestation is different.That's why there is no need for religious groups,churches,etc...They are only used for creating a herd that will follow the leader,and feed someone's spiritual hunger.God,the one that we think of when we mention the Bible is,to me,the ultimate vampire.Anyone who becomes a rebel encounters resistance in society.Today,people have lost something most valuable they have - ability to think.The job wears you out,at home you're staring at the TV,watching stupid movies and even more stupid reality shows that have invaded every channel...All around is meaningless fun created to preoccupy the thoughts.There is no devil that is tempting people and forcing them to do evil.Good and evil don't exist on a cosmic or absolute level.The church is the one that teaches dualism,the eternal heavenly battle between demons and angels,Satan and God,only for the purpose of controlling the masses.As I mentioned,Lucifer is a rebel archetype,the one who opposed the reigning hierarchy for his evolution,spiritual progress and independent existence,for the deification of his own being.In every religion and mythology there is a rebel that is considered evil or the source of all evil by the ruler,organized church,absolute god,that is the side that wants at all costs to keep current hierarchy and dogma,even at the cost of spiritual evolutionary stagnation and lie.And then we see this rebel,whatever his name may be,that brings with his action necessary changes and elevates the entire system and then we understand his importance.Collective conscience exists,and it's artificially designed by the media,politicians,school systems,entertainment industry to keep us somnolent,in eternal sleepiness without sleep.
Having a free will is something that gives us a chance to find a meaning to life.Perceiving our own being is something that symbolically makes us gods.But,through history mankind is persistently denying its true nature,that's why to mundane,superficial conscience the myths about a rebel seem dark and wrong,and real gods are getting the title of fallen,evil,destructive characters of darkness.Directing the attention to abstract,distant principle through which our strength is lost,because we're giving ourselves to something,we're vanishing and not getting anything in return.That's the biggest tragedy of mankind.Not knowing that only through that rebellion and perceiving his own free will,falling into the abyss and illuminating the way with the strength of inner Sun,man can become something more,something we call divine.Eather that or dead clay.It's all a matter of will.
Death is not the end of our existence (and I'm not writting this because I'm afraid of death so I'm finding some kind of excuse).I stopped fearing death long time ago and I'm not worried so much about what will happen after,the only thing I believe in is one order that rules the universe,something that Tibetans call Fohat and old Norsemen Wyrd,terms that are almost imposible to describe with words.
