"A triumph of the Spirit! SKIP-DAWG is the real thing - facing immense physical struggles and overcoming them with hope, tenacity and fire. A very talented and well known inspirational Philadelphia rapper, he was a mega brain and top college athlete (known as Dann Furia) who graduated from Princeton University at the young age of 20. But in 2005, he underwent two major lung surgeries to repair a genetic condition that caused his lungs to collapse! Amazingly, he bounced back! A 2008 performance captured the attention of Interscope Records' mega-producer Beatgods, who then executive produced Skip-Dawg's fourth album "We Will Rise."
