From what I've seen, this looks like its based on the BFBC and Operation: Flashpoint engine/gameplay style, and therefore isn't ground breaking. When I'm paying £40+ for a game...

Looks too samey, not much difference in combat styles to Battlefield Bad Company/Operation Flash Point with the whole compass and chunky movement.
I don't think you can strictly compare to COD as COD is more fluid, faster paced. It's a different gameplay experiance.
