So here I am, a regular kid in high school who just can't get enough of that stuff they call music. As for singing, I've got an above average vocal range that spans around 3 and a third octaves. I figure I'm a cross between Justin Bieber and Frankie Valli.
If you ask me where I get my inspiration, I'd probably reply with "it's just the way I express the feelings I get from going to school, playing in sports, being in love, and driving cars," which is something like how Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys put it.
I'm a Christian, I go to church, I have countless friends, know most of them and try my best to create music that is pleasing to the Lord as well as others.
So there I am, for the most part normal......I guess!

Thanks for your comment. Yep .. now that I reflect on it .. that's how Brian Wilson learnt to expand his innate natural talent, way back when .. listening & learning .. right from when he was just a young kid, growing up, pre-teen. Many BW interviews over the years have Brian relating in his own words, how he used to endlessly have his ear glued to the radio .. discovering for himself the answer to the question "How'd they do that?". Then listen to a track, then he'd go to his piano, & work out the chords & the arrangements, line-by-line, bar-by bar .. & after a while he'd have it all down pat. Today of course we are blessed with infinitely better music-learning technology than a mere transistor radio ... cheers again, CD.

Hey there, thanks for your recent comment, re that BW instrumental track "Land Ahoy" .. the upload by Rick Nelson (he's got the best collection of Brian Wilson rarities I've come across). Sorry if my suggestion about 'young song-writers' sounded a bit over the top & too heavy, it was my sheer enthusiasm for ANYTHING Brian Wilson that prompted my outburst. I'm a retired university lecturer, I guess that part of my character is also hard to shake off. Anyhow, Brian's backing tracks are rather unique & fantastic (at least to me, anyway). Cheers, Col.
