This song was covered by BR-549. They did a fabulous job but Johnny Horton's original verion remains unequaled. Great song!

This one of a very few times I've seen Doug play his fiddle under his chin. Usually he holds it in the crook of his arm. Either way, he's a fabulous performer.

I never could figure why Keith plays without a low E string. Most players would be lost without it. Five strings works for him so I can't knock it but I'll keep all six strings when I play. He is a very unique player and has stood the test of time. Rock on!
