I'm a "natural", but I'm a VERSATILE natural!
I don't limit my styling abilities (because I'm a natural) heat styling has been my primary reggie!
As my mood change...so does my hair styles!
The advantage of being a natural...
I could wash & go one day & wear my straight the next Maintaining a healthy head of hair is aways the goal!
I've had the same hair routine for years and I find that it works for me!
I've cut (not trimmed) my hair OVER 50 times during a 10 year period and I've worn (just about) every hair style (except dreads) and color imaginable!
I did the BC twice!
BC 10 years (cut out the relaxer)
BC (mini) 5 years ago (cut out the bleach)!
I've never been a "product junkie"
(less is best for me), however, products I can't live without are...
1. Grapeseed oil
2. Olive oil
3. Moroccan oil
4. Aveeda brillance
5. Cream of Nature shampoo
6. Kera Care conditioner
7. Argan oil (for my wigs)
Honestly...that's all the hair products I have! LOL
My BASIC hair routine is...
1. wash once a month
2. Deep condition OR hot oil treatmentonce a month
(ALWAYS deep condition BEFORE heat styling
3. Flat iron once a month
4. Trim once a month
Less is best...
Low manipulation works well for me...
I leave my hair alone and it grows!
I'm not apart of any blogs/vlogs...
