Personally, it makes more sense to call it "Wario Shipyard". After all, there are multiple ships that are crashed, and the whole area gives the vibe of a shipyard. Calling it a galleon makes it sound like it's still afloat.

I believe those are the vampires/zombies of Chinese lore: Jiang-Shi (That was probably spelled wrong, forgive me). In legends, they move by hopping around, giving them the nickname "Hopping Vampires". That cultural explanation still doesn't save this movie from sucking, though.
