Born and raised in Saratoga Springs New York. Started Picken guitar at the age of 10, Dad had gotten A guitar for his birthday remembering A Harmony hollow body sunburst f hole Electric guitar. Tried learning to play it! gave up on it! Handed it down to me I soon got the chord book out and began my journey to being A guitar picker. I remember the hee-Haw Country music tv show i'd be glued to the ole black and white. I'd watch Merl Haggard, Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Grampa Jones and the whole hee haw gang. I'd watch them as they played songs Merl Haggard being my insparation I wanted to play just like him. Every move there fingers went I tried so hard to follow. Soon I came to playing chords. First song i'd ever learn was in the key of C and that was the only cord in the song. Through the years at about 14 years old found me A buddy down the way his dad played Bass in A band and was teaching him. Steve could not talk good had A studerin problem. But he could sure play the bass so we got together every day after school. At the age of 16 I heard about an open mike in Schenectady New York witch was 45 miles from where I lived. So I headed with guitar in hand one week end Hitched A ride all the way no matter what determaned I was gonna play with A full country band.Merl Haggards Silver Wings was the very first country song I'd do with the band I remember the aploude I got to this day I liked that feeling. Got me hungering for more. At the age of 17 I teamed up with an Aunt and Uncle "The Wayne Anderson Joey Johnson Show" A Country music band every week end I'd play learning more advancing to lead guitar after about 5 1/2 I decided I'd go on My own. Forming A Country band "Speed Limit 50s to 60s". After about ten year I'd form another band "The Just Us Band" teaming up with the legondairy Sony Thompson. A traditional country Band as well as modern country music. Playing County Fairs, Local Taverns, Honky Tonks, Camp grounds, VFW's, Found Rasiers, weddings, Family reunions, You name it we played it.Country
