She doesn't have any lesson, she's self taught. She feel in love with music at the age of 3 and hasn't let it go. She writes her own music and sings every 24/7. Some of her influences are Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Jill Scott, and etc. Like many military brats, the 21-year-old songstress/songwriter has undergone a fascinating, but crazy childhood all over the world. She has been all over the United States & Europe, but her heartbeats Oakland, California. Growing up there at age 3, she discovered her fondness of music and from then, ShayStar has never let it go. She began to sing and singing became her life.
