Guys, I solved this mystery a looong time ago. The yellow light is the sun. People in those ids have the always midnight cheat activated. The yellow dot is the sun. If you deactivate the cheat, the dot will shrink, and then grow in size and brightness to become teh sun. Try it ;)

it is the unlockOutfits on/off cheat. It allows you to dress your sim like a mummy. But there is a glitch with the face, as you can see. The cast only covers half of the face. I have it too. Nice try, though ; )
