Oktoberfest!! German Folk Songs I wanted to do a playlist of tunes for Oktoberfest. However, it turns out that Oktoberfest is mostly in SEPTEMBER! (How, stupid of me.) Unfortunately, the weather here, turned unexpectantly wet as well. So, my guitar sounds somewhat "soggy" - like it's made from balsa. But, I hope you enjoy the songs anyway, and I have an early start on next year,eh? Have a happy Oktoberfet!

Gitlitz gets SimpleGuitarPlayered!!! Yes folks it true. SimpleGuitarPlayer has now begun a playlist of hits from the pen of Paul Gitlitz.. Sometime ago, I was searching the archives of Free-Scores.com for sheet music and came across Paul's. I sent him an email asking him if it was ok to make videos for my YouTube site. He said sure and then tried to sell me a CD (probably, out of the trunk of his car) and get me to go to his website to listen to his songs. But, I told him I didn't want to "ruin them" by listening first. Anyway, while trying to sell me his CDs (don't tell him about the Ipod or anything. He probably has like crates of CDs in his living room) he began giving me this sad story of how many mouths he had to feed and all the people in his band were hungry and all (boo hoo).. when I told him that, at that time, I had nowhere to stay and was trying to practice wherever I could and at that precise minute I was trying to practice in a little league ball park but was being overwhelmed by little leaguers. At which point, he never contacted me again. (What a guy). Anyway, he does have some great tunes, and I hope to do them justice as I add them to this playlist over time. So, folks...here they are - a collection of tunes and songs by Paul Gitlitz as performed by SimpleGuitarPlayer.
