About The Parish Of Head To Head

The grooves are eclectic, driven by Tack and Noel D whose previous Salisbury outings were with Floyd Jones and Sky Blue Pink. Simon Birch MKA DJ Funk (Po-Na-Na, Escoba) provides disco keyboard and Rich Wright guitar minimalism. Exotic vocals are mostly Noel. The blend is a soundtrack to a 1970s porn film, prog funk meets its kinky self.

The Parish of Head to Head are an, as yet, unsigned band based in Salisbury, UK. Formed in 2005, they have one self-released 4 track CD called "The Music EP" (early 2006).

Their sound is a hybrid of many influences, most notably funk, progressive rock and disco. There are four members of the band: Noel D plays drums, percussion and provides vocals. Tack plays bass, Rich Wright plays guitar and Simon Birch plays keyboards. The sound is enhanced by the use of samples, that are usually triggered from the drum kit.
