This channel is primarily devoted to discussing the arts, with particular attention paid to film.

I prefer films bathed in Capital "R" Romanticism and various forms of accentuated reality. Therefore, my favorite film movement is German Expressionism. I love tracing the influence of this style on American filmmakers.

My favorite directors are: Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, and James Whale.
