Companions can be annoying. Barbas was a freaking beast in combat but I eventually turned in the quest cause I got tired of him always pushing me around. I got a kill at firing range that was a group of three guys coming at me, started shooting at the center guy, was about to die when the center guy threw a piece of C-4. I shot the C-4 mid air and killed all 3 of them, that was so lucky and awesome.
