Federico Tanas (November 24, 1989) better known as Sillycon Drop is an italian make up artist. Born and raised in Cagliari (Italy), studied first at Liceo Michelangelo and, after a brief career at the University of Architecture in Cagliari, he enrolled at the European Institute of Design, nurturing his long time passion: fashion (he's a fan of designers like Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler) achieving the One Year Design Experience degree.
Since 2010 he's got in touch with the drag queen's world, performing in various pubs in Cagliari. In this period, in fact, was born Sillycon Drop, a character, an artist, a comedian, a performer with a strong aesthetic sense, a little "bitchy" in her behaviour, obsessed by fashion and plastic surgery.

Along with this form of art and expression, he began, improving day by day and drawing from the experience of important figures such as Billy Brasfield, the Pixiwoo and other drag colleagues, italians and not, his career as a make up artist.
He was a teacher of drawing and fashion illustration at the Institute of Fashion Industry of Brescia, and he took care of the make up of 30 girls for a fashion show at the Fair of Cagliari. The charming world of the make up captured his attention and in 2011 he followed and obteined a diploma as make up artist at the Faery Academy, thanks to the professional course leded by Rossano de Cesaris.

After a second course of Fashion Stylist at the IED of Cagliari, he has focused on the profession of make up artist, first working for the ACLI Mandas as a teacher of make up of 1st and 2nd level and then, opening a channel on YouTube and collaborating with different photographers and models for some photo shoots.
His dream is to work for major brands such as MAC, MUFE, Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown, etc. alongside of professional make up artists, maintaining the character of Sillycon, increasing his knowledge and improving the techniques and the results, experiencing new things. For this reason, in January 2012, he left for London, hoping in new job opportunities that he's searching for.
