Some things will never change ...
But have we tried to change the
things that we can? Have we tried
to make the slightest change
towards good in our lives?
Because all I see today
shows me otherwise.
POETRY CAN CHANGE MINDS... MINDS, THAT CAN TRULY CHANGE THE WORLD.
The Fog of Memories
I'm trying to restrain,
Trying to hold it inside,
Trying to never complain,
Living next to our fountain.
It was wide and twisting
Bringing cool air to the streets of Yerevan
Water was spitting like a thorn
and a whistle of silent storm.
Years caressed our fountain
Leaving behind only the sufferings
Not the love and not the smiles,
But a big hole in our minds.
That's when I got the feeling
which I never felt before.
I missed a place, not person
Bringing back the years of joy.
I have to fly half of the globe
To see it again.
I wish I have hugged it for the last time
before I left my birth town.
