@dieingfeetis If you like the heavier/raw sound, Age of Winters and Gods of the Earth are better (I prefer Gods of the Earth). Warp Riders is a little cleaner production, but still very similar. The main difference is the sound levels/quality of the vocals.

Barlow does the slow, dark singing better, which would be my guess for why Schaffer alter the song some, to take advantage of Owens higher intensity. Personally, I prefer Barlow, his ability to switch between different styles of singing brought out a greater range of feeling in the songs.
