Rocky Twitchell has been studying martial arts since 1982. Rocky's first Instructor was Shane Milone' of Rough & Tumble Fighting Systems. Rocky traveled the country boxing in the USA Amatuer Boxing Federation from 1986 to 1994. Since 1994 Rocky has been studying and teaching martial arts mainly from South East Asia. Martial arts from,Cambodia, Vietnam,Burma, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Borneo, the Philipines, various other styles from Hawaii, Nepal, Mongolia, Tonga & Samoa.
Rocky study's the art of Muay Thai under Doc & Zina Docto of Muay Thai Missions.
Rocky has also been studying with Dan Inosanto of the Inosanto Academy located in Los Angeles, California,since 1995.
Rocky is a Full Instructor under the late great Larry Hartsell. ( Rest In Peace my friend 1945 -2007)
Rocky writes articles for Azlan Ghanie of SENI BELADIRI MAGAZINE located in Malaysia.Rocky's articles about his demonstrations,teaching and research about the art of Pencak Silat ,are released to the news stands every 3-4 months in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
