As some of you may be aware, there has been a marked increase in exploitation cases of young Sikh women over the last few weeks. Over 13 parents have contacted over the last 2 weeks us regarding run away's and abuse. This including a case of a girl who was systematically abused and groomed via facebook which began when she was just 13.

Sadh sangat ji, hath jorr ke benti aa, it is so hard to see the agony of broken families every day, please bring general awareness to your families. Protect your loved ones from internet grooming.

There are so many problems and threats facing our youth today. SAS are doing an excellant job in making us aware of these so that we do not fall victim to them.

Khalsa Youth Club and Sikh Awareness Society are continuing to work together to spread the message of the perils that our youth and families are facing today, and by educating through media, educational institutions and Gurdwara's it will ensure those most at risk will start to WAKE UP.
