About Me:

Hi folks!.
I'm purely giving my 60's tunes a good old airing again, all for the love of it...and plenty of new stuff too. No re-releases, only original pressings.
All spinning on my trusty 1973 Sony Auto-400 deck....in glorious MONO.
Everything you hear is from the vinyl you see - 'direct from disc' I believe they call it. Static label clips have sound from another source though because I can't afford the records!. Really scratchy stuff has had a tad of filtering going on for your ears sake.

Enjoy.....and comment like mad!!!

Fancy a laugh? - well visit my two U2B channels of comedy vinyl - and the just plain weird. Look up 'VinylFun' and 'VinylHell'. Also I play some of my original 50's vinyl on 'JukeboxSaturdayNite'. Check 'em out!.
Also, if you're into cool 78's - check out my eldest daughter Liz's account - 78s4FR (she's got loads more hits than me. Am I jealous?. Yes - but proud of her. x).

(If anyone objects to the sounds and/or images I have presented, please contact me and I will delete them within good reason. Thanks)

Hello Music Lovers!
Just had a delve into my YT status and it says my account is 'not in good standing'. I'm not surprised as at least half of my uploads carry a "Matched third party content" warning.
If this account suddenly disappears, fear not! - I'll be right back with the name 'SidsSoundsOfThe60s', or something very similar. Please make a note. Everything's been saved so will be no problem to re-post. Meanwhile, plenty of new clips are ready to upload. Happy listening!. Sid B

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!.
Thanks for all your great comments over the year. Plenty more 7" gems lined up to post.
I spent the New Year's night keeping a wise eye on my youngest daughters' party. All drum 'n' bass and dubstep. That helped me appreciate the old music even more!

Can't thank you enough for uploading all of these 60's 'hits'. Takes me right back to a very happy time in my life. Thank you so much.

Hey Sid, you may think this is a strange comment (it is) but I wanna thank you for 'liking' Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale, from BBC4Music. I didn't post it but it was my dad's favourite song. This song always reminds my of him, thanks to you I listened to it again!! ;-)
