THERE IS A LARGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HINDUISM AND SIKHISM. Many Hindu nationalists are stating they are the same. Key differences:
1.) Sikhism is a monotheistic religion, Hinduism is a polytheistic religion.
2.) Sikhism DOES NOT believe in idol worship or any kind of ritual to please God, as in Hinduism, rituals are a way to contact ancestors, etc.
3.) There is no caste system in Sikhism, even though Jatt, Tarkan, etc. exists, it is not an official way to classify people, unlike in Hinduism if you are not Brahmin, you cannot marry him/her.
