"People who get easily offended by race jokes or stereotypes tend to be the most racist, but they try to hide it by labeling other people (or movie characters) racist."
I could argue that this is wrong, but is there any point when you and everyone else know full well that it's desperate, disingenuous bollocks designed to hit out at people who commit the terrible offence of pointing out the nasty shit in pop culture? I mean, you can't actually believe something so fucking stupid.
"I'm not going to lie to you so that you join me in my misery. I'm going to tell you the truth, how it is."
When do we get to that part? Is it in another video? Because this part seemed an awful lot like lying to me so that I would join you in your misery.
Best song in its semi-final by some way - pretty much the only one that made me sit and pay attention. The ending is incredibly abrupt though, and the staging was weak - I'd have done it with the girls dressed as murderers stabbing a gigantic fake heart that bleeds ribbons!
Because of empathy. Empathy means identifying with something else's distress and pain. As soon as you start saying, "I refuse to feel for something that can't feel for me", you're basically saying you see nothing wrong with killing humans if they can't or won't empathise with you.
Looks like it's shaping up very nicely indeed. Wonder how many of the kids crying about the budget and calling it 'indie shit' have failed Kickstarter projects under their belt. Or more likely that a lack of cam-shake and soldiers confuses and frightens them.
I bet you think all women should keep themselves fit to please their menfolk too. You don't have to be a 'fanboy' but you could try to be something more than a maggot of a human being.
No, I'm not 'freakin' kidding' you. Look at the comments section on this video. All I can see is men whining and wailing and crying about the nasty feminists.
I've read plenty of cogent, clear, convincing criticism written by feminists. All their enemies ever seem to manage is bleating and exaggeration and rank stupidity. This comments wall is full of some of the most laughably stupid attempts to 'discredit' feminism. Breasts are the same as beards? wtf? Stop crying and grow up.
Thanks for this. Would have helped if at any point in the game it had told you that the platforms buff you for an extra couple of seconds.
Dude can't seem to stay on point. And he says, "Let's look at the statistics" ... then completely fails to reference any statistics. Name-checking isn't statistics. I mean, it's not all wrong, by any means, but it'd be nice if he could make one thought or point follow logically from another instead of scattershot observations and assertions.
I thought this game was great until I got to the extra levels after the main narrative. There you seem to have abandoned the concept of a puzzle platformer in favour of a twitch control platformer that can only be completed by people prepared to perfect an exact sequence of moves by practising endless hours. And the collision detection is too sloppy for it to work as this kind of game. *Sigh*. Good job on the main levels though.
I guess this version of the film was made for you then - every line of the dialogue rewritten to spell out the fucking obvious so you won't get 'bored'.
"... and now they are more miserable than ever."
That's a pretty baseless assertion grounded in your own prejudices. And why do you think staying at home with children is a barrel of laughs? If your job *isn't* soul-crushing (and they aren't all like that), I'd have thought a lot of people would prefer to be at that. A job can be more fulfilling, engaging and rewarding than bringing up kids.
Let me elaborate: workers who opt out of union will get the same benefits as workers who opt in. So eventually, no one will opt in, because why should they shoulder all the cost when others refuse to? So no more union. No brokering deals with employers. They then have you all by the balls. That's what you're going to get. Enjoy choosing between minimum wage w/o sick pay and the unemployment line.
