- Sexism (yes, towards men AND women)

- Classism
- Organized religion
- Stereotypes of any kind
- "Traditional" morality
- Social conservatism
- Outright denial of demonstrated, proven fact
- Willful ignorance
- Radicalism in any form

- Misrepresentation of important information, especially by people who stand to gain something from promoting these stereotypes and stigmas.
