@baneofzakhaev There's enough flexibility in the architecture to retain the kernel and driver architecture which there's the largest chance to get working properly, and the API set which is needed by software independent of that.

Also NT4 and NT5 aren't that different, you could often reuse NT4 ...

@kamilm122 Nope, it wasn't really. The add-on cards are used here which completely change it. In particular the CPU add-on card features a PowerPC CPU which is incompatible with 68000 series CPUs... and then the PCI extension with a graphic accelerator made for PCs... @radarphaser Not your own PC, the game client is executed on a server and you get compressed video back over internet. OnLive and Gaikai deploy such service for a number of games already.

@95BrickSquad Look at power your graphic card needs, add the CPU, then 20W per harddisk or optical drive, and look for a PSU which can supply this power on 12V with some wiggle room (total rated power of the PSU will be around 100W higher because of 5v/3.3v consumers). Don't buy crappy cheap PSUs...

@Darkteammadfiz He has a point, and a different one. This phone has 1/3rd of the performance and half the memory of the cheapest Android phones of today. Goes to show how much slower (ancient) Android used to be than Qtopia and Matchbox, and how weak and abandoned this phone is.

@fyvelnews The price is pretty normal for HongKong direct stuff - those things aren't rocket science, nothing much expensive in there per se. You pay little for advertisement, very little for shelf space and distribution network, and zero for warranty and customer support. Same device would cost ...

@ballwizz23 More, but most RC planes sell without them (optionally or exclusively), so the price is directly comparable.

It's not really all that much about the price anyway, it's about making something and having fun.

Since there is no standard keyboard-like accessory for dock port and iPhone doesn't support USB host mode, only possibility that comes to mind, the device identifies...

Uncoated plastic doesn't have good optical properties, that's why you can't (and don't want to) get uncoated plastic. My guess is, yours wasn't applied very well, so it started coming off - of course you could expect it to do so eventually, but not in the first 3 months.

@CastleSnowflake It's got pretty much the same battery life as most mid-class Androids. It should survive 4 hours in active use and should be charged daily with common settings, idling away around half the battery per day. If you turn off all internet access, gps, wifi, whatnot, and don't install...
