You need to take your hand off of the guitar when you sweep pick. If you're hitting all of the notes in that section, those are fairly advanced 5 string sweeps, you'll never get enough speed the way you're playing it.

It depends. The last part of the solo is a harmony. You can either play 22 21 20 19 then 18 17 16 15 or 18 17 16 15 then 15 14 13 12. other than that the highest not is a 20.
