The Harriers have been at RAF Cottesmore since 1999, when 3(f) SQN & IV(AC) returned from Germany. 1(f)SQN was moved to Cottesmore about 8 years ago leaving 20(R) SQN at Wittering. Recently with the disbanding of 20(R), IV(AC) was renamed IV(R) and replaced the Harriers at Wittering.
