Dear Sister SHAI'YAHROSE. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you." Such faith in the omnipresence of Jehovah was a basic tenet of the Jewish faith. Although they had never seen His form, all Jewish people believed implicitly that God was always present. Their history was proof of His eternal care and protection. They had full faith in an invisible God! Putting Himself on the same level as God, Jesus urged the disciples to trust Him even when He was not physically present."I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).
