SHIRLEY ROAD PRODUCTIONS is an award-winning independent video/film production company, based in Philadelphia. Founded by public television professionals in 1991, the company's mission is to create educational and cultural programs that are innovative in content, point of view and production.

The company's creative team has over thirty years combined experience in developing and producing programs for public television. Major documentaries include the Cine Golden Eagle award winning BALLYCASTLE (2004), the Emmy and Gabriel award winning AN ANGEL IN THE VILLAGE (1999), and the ITVS supported CINE award winning MIRROR DANCE. MIRROR DANCE premiered nationally in 2005 on the Emmy Award winning PBS series INDEPENDENT LENS in 2005.
