Dear friend, I think you are missing an important point by associating Islam with "Shaytaan." Shaytaan means "rival" and it is the moniker given to the "god" of Light and Knowledge Lucifer by the other "gods" when he was excommunicated because he sided with human beings in the war of liberation against the "gods". Confer the Prometheus legend in the Greek mythology. Almost all religions with the possible exception of the original Iranian religion which arose out of this conflict, are based on the demands of the "gods" from humans and the power relations between the "gods" and humans. Therefore it would be unfair to associate the religion of the unpredictable, arbitrary, whimsical and psychopathic "god" el-Lah with Lucifer who after all had made an ethical choice and sided with the weaker party in this tremendous conflict, the very first war of liberation in human history.
