You'd think a kids' show would spell their captions correctly. The plural of "kid" is "kids" not "kid's".

Colin's French response near the beginning basically means "so-so". I think he was trying to say "oh well", meaning he didn't care. If so, "c'est la vie" (that's life) is another well-known French phrase that would've fit better.

@Barbra3110Love I think the way he did it was a pretty good indication that he knows who she really is (as revealed in Secrets). If he didn't know at the time, I think Batman's sidekick would be perceptive enough to see through the obvious lie.

@decor271 He also turned on the radio in the Batmobile on the way to where the bad guy was in order to keep himself awake. For some reason all that was playing was Frere Jacques (I'd like to know what kind of weird station that was), which explains why Batman was humming that one in particular.
