I've been playing a lot of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 lately. Can you tell?
I got this idea after hearing some of Galactus' voice clips in that game, and then remembering back to some of the "giant" characters made for Mugen. There was always one that really stuck out in my mind, and that was Anslasax. So I figured, why not do this? Kind of ironic though, considering Anslasax is an edit of Apocalypse.
This is mostly just a test for now. I gave him new intro quotes, and multiple ones at that (although sometimes it doesn't work/there's no sound for some reason. Need to fix that), as well as new quotes during moves. Also gave him some new/different win quotes. It was kind of a pain to show them all off for a slight demonstration though, considering he likes to get into a loop saying the same thing over and over again. I'll probably release this at some point soon if I fix a few things with it.
Anyways, that's about it for now. As always, I hope you guys enjoy this. ^^

So, Krizalid 2001 finally got released in terms of normal Mugen from the KoFM Lv2 full game. Personally, I've actually been really looking forward to him being released, along with a few others. So, does this release meet my expectations though...? Well, the answer to that comes in a sadly frustrated and slightly disappointed "Ehhhh."
I'll be honest, this Krizalid isn't too bad, but he's not all that great either. I guess I should go over some of my gripes with this in detail...
For the most part, my main complaints are on his play-style/controls, as well as the somewhat poor job that was done in porting him to regular Mugen. First of all, his controlling is...well, it just feels rather off. I don't know what it is, but I found myself having quite a bit of trouble using various moves with him or getting certain inputs to work correctly. I guess it might have to do with the time on some of them, but I can somewhat get around this aspect.
His style though is another thing altogether. I guess I'm just used to playing as Nyankoro's Krizalid, because this one feels like he has some very limited combination moves. I can only really pull off a few combos with him, and all of them generally start with the same string of attacks.
The only other thing I want to note on are some of the errors that were made when he was ported to normal Mugen. First off, the explode-sparks for some of his hyper moves were either incorrect/used effects from Mugen's fightfx combined with his own, or just didn't show up at all. I had to fix them a bit, which was a tad annoying to say the least. Also, his damage and life values are way too high for the normal engine (it makes more sense in the full game, since there's generally extended life values and among other similar things in it). To be specific, he initially had 3,500 life when I opened his cns files.
Overall...I'm a little bit disappointed with how he turned out, but in the very least, he's decent for the most part. It definitely blows 119-way's version out of the water, but it's still not as good as Nyankoro's Krizalid or even the 2001-type edit of his Krizalid (who only wears said styled coat during certain moves/poses in actuality).
Anyways, that's all for now. As always, I hope you guys enjoy the video/showcase of moves here. ^^

I'm back to doing this again, ever-so-slightly in some way.
You might notice that I actually skipped one of the stage themes, that being the Garden Palace theme. The reason for this is because that song is actually another of Joe Satriani's works, titled "The Eight Steps." As such, I won't be uploading that theme, but I will be uploading a few others such as character-specific themes.
Anyways, this particular theme plays when you fight in both the day and night versions of the KoF 96 Boss Stage. It's also the longest theme in the entire game by far. Quite fitting though for Krauser.

Generic fad response. Yeah, I know, YTP-esque things usually aren't my cup of tea (at least in making them), and I'm about 2 months late for this one, but I couldn't resist doing this. Besides, it's a welcome break from uploading KoFM Lv2 tracks just to discover the artist who actually made them. I'll still be uploading the soundtrack, but for now, consider this a filler/break of sorts.
Oh, and Happy Halloween. :)

Here's the next of the stage themes. This is hands down, one of my favorite tracks in the entire game. I have no idea if it's original or not (which it probably isn't. I could have sworn I've actually heard a tune similar to this someplace before), but either way I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Enjoyed watching "Mega Man vs. Metroid." I had played "Mega Man vs. Ghosts n Goblins" before and Arthur wasn't even hard to beat at all. But Samus??? That's a bad azz character and not as easy to beat as Arthur was before. But you did good defeating Samus. It took guts to kill Samus finally. =)
