I started editing back in February 2007. A school friend of mine introduced me to AMVs. I found it quite fun and interesting seeing as how I already enjoyed watching anime so I decided to make my own AMVs.

Editing Programs: - Sony Vegas 7.0 - Photoshop CS2(I use this to make all my backgrounds and sometimes make custom effects for AMVs) - Particle Illusions 3.0 - After Effects (Well technically I have used After Effects but only for a total of 3 hours...When I finish all my Vegas stuff I guess I'll use it more.)
Just a few things I want to say about my opinion of flow. I've seen some people misunderstand the overall concept of flow. Some think a raw style edited AMV, which is an AMV with almost no effects, is a so called "flow AMV". An AMV can have a billion effects (ok thats exaggerated) but it can still have the best flow in the world. It's not about the amount of effects though, it's how they are used.
I think the confusion came about because raw style AMVs show the most basic form of flow because of it's simplicity. Just think of it like this. They say God is everywhere right? Well flow is like God; it's everywhere, except flow doesn't stare at you while you're in the shower.
