Edwin Bol is a singer-songwriter from Gouda, Holland (indie/acoustic style).

Born 1980. His first guitarlessons were at the Musicschool Gouda (1994) en here he played in his first band 'Wanted',
together with Menno de Graaf (the current bass player). Some years later he met Maurits Westerik ('GEM') and Bram van Welie
and they formed the band 'Mint', where he started drumming from 1999 until 2002. After this he played in 'Sway' for a couple of months
(drums and later on guitars) en then he formed 'Moonstar', where he was the singer and guitarist and wrote his own songs.

Then it became quiet...

The illness M.E. (chronic fatigue syndrome), which he suffered from, began to strike hard; 'Moonstar' was ended and for many years
the music was gone. Bed- and homebound, everything changed and some hard and difficult years followed. Until the music slowly came back in 2010.

All inspiration from the past years, began to form new songs and a year after that he stepped up the stage with his guitar again - this time accompanied
by Menno de Graaf (bassguitar) and Vanessa Boogerd (backing vocals) - and he is working on his new EP ('Keep Your Sympathy') with brandnew songs.

With lyrics like 'You've got to take what's here and hold it tight and never let go...', 'Not all is lost...It's better to keep going on...The sun will set...' and
'Everybody Come On...Awake tonight and make some fun...We have won...' it becomes clear what goals are set;
the music is back and nothing will stop him again from sharing it!
