@Xanatos712 in QI, the obvious answer is usually the wrong one, and usually carries a hefty loss of points. But because the contestants are often wary when it comes to giving what seems like the obvious answer, the show occassionally throws a curve-ball like this one...where the answer really WAS...

@Idioluck since he was presumably asked by George Stacey, I guess not. He's only testing it anyway, he's not actually been arrested. The thing I'm surprised about is why they didn't confiscate his web-shooters...it's not a very accurate test if you lock the subject up with all his tools and gadgets.

@jontebattle55 what about Mysterio and Vulture? They rely on tech too. Maybe they just wanted other villains to take the spotlight, and someone had to be cut. It's a pity though, I like this series' Shocker.

@simbadas1234 yup...and the web patterns have faded too. It's really clever, having the costume gradually go from just a black spiderman outfit to the classic symbiote suit.

I love how the Bugle office is still in pieces from Rhino's attack, and not just magically in one piece again. It's little details like that which makes this show so incredible.

@andasideoffries it won't work. Since Marvel changed ownership, they legally cannot continue Spectacular Spiderman without breaching copyright, that's why it was cancelled. I'm sorry, but no matter how much people beg and plead, the creator's hands are legally tied. We can only hope Ultimate Spid...

@Raynwoke Magneto probably COULD rule over a country if it wasn't for opposing mutants like the X-men. Maybe Africa just has a lower mutant population, or are at least less-equipped to deal with a mutant attack. Of course that's just speculation, Hungan could have just been crazy.
