Shepherd Center is a catastrophic care hospital specializing in the medical and rehabilitative treatment of people with spinal cord injury and disease, acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular disorders.

Founded in 1975, Shepherd Center is a private, not-for-profit facility located in Atlanta, Georgia. Each year more than 850 patients are admitted and nearly 30,000 outpatient clinic visits are conducted. A leading proponent for the rights of people with disabilities, Shepherd Center helps people with catastrophic injuries and illnesses reclaim their lives with dignity, independence and hope.
