Although the fireworks were not as protrayed in the video, they was loud pyrotechnics on the back of stage right used for the cannon part. The pavilion (where I was) got lit up by these, but it'd been nice to have had them lit at seperate locations backstage so the shadows would have varied like...

Two main reasons--time signature changes, which is hard for average high schools bands (especially 3, but yes, better bands do these) and too many woodwind parts that just don't carry on the field. It is a shame though.

Fantastic. This exceeds many of the British military band recordings and compares to how Col. Gabriel and the USAF band played this. I love your look too--it's about what I'd expect in a period performance. Any chance we'll see you with some Grainger, say Lincolnshire or Hill Song #2?

Very nice! Thank you for posting.
This is one of my favorites ever since I played an arrangement for winds. The acoustics where the microphone was are amazing--too often this and the first Short Prelude and Fugue get muddied in the echos and give a dissonance. [In fact this is why my profes...

This is beautiful and well performed. I've never heard any choral arrangement of this before. Is this arrangement published?
