You Bring a Horse For Me? Productions was founded by Sheleigh Bober and Robert Mitchell in 2007/2008 (it was a slow start) because they wanted to cover events they were passionate about and share them with others who couldn't be present for the madness of it all.

The name of the company is an ode to a line from one of Sergio Leone's films: "Once Upon A Time In The West."
