I like the suspension they are putting on the ZL1. But i hope it's not superheavy 4000lbs+ is ridicules. Also I hope the motor is all forged and can be pushed to 1000hp+ stock like the gt500 can.

The lambo weighs in at ~ 3350lbs the Shelby ~ 3900lbs. The Shelby needs to ether drop 200lbs (easy to do) or add another 75hp(super easy to do) to keep up. The driver in the Shelby is really bad at shifting but still doesn't change the power to weight ratio facts.

The gt500 is running a 3.6lc kenne bell at 93 octane that's what I have on mine and I get about the same RWHP. The gt500 is a drag car the vett a track car. Apples and oranges.

@fishdog888 my point is you are comparing apples to oranges. The Bugatti is not built to go around a track the fastest it is built to be the fastest top speed stock car in the world. The lotus goes around nurumburging at 8:22 a BMW M3 goes around at 7:48 and a stock mustang 5.0 has been getting consistent track times similar to the M3 . it's time that lotus understands that they need a bigger engine.

@Trickscopezz im running 9.9 on mine with all stock motor and tranny and rear end. Only put on a bigger blower and heatexchanger some suspension upgrades and an aluminum drive shaft.

@R34GTR35 where I live new z06 and ZR1 are a dime a dozen, they are everywhere. As for the GTR I've only seen one and it was at a car show. The GTR is a great car but if you actually know how to drive and plan on driving at the track there is nothing like the ZR1. It will teach you how to drive.

@jrodthegreat mustangs are built for a midrange power curve pushing high torque at low rpm. If you pushed their red lines back they would not perform as well. The stock 5.0 puts down the same track times as an M3 because of the low rpm torque.

@12scoots24 the gt500 has better track times than the M3 and the Audi r8!
