As an American living in Thailand for so long I see too much you are blocked from in America. The real news can be found outside the prison walls or borders of the USA. Escaping is the only way one can really appreciate what is happening there for so long.

I live in the mountains of Maenam when on Samui and I see all the snakes, just don't play with them, the black with the 5 yellow bands, that is the most deadly there or anywhere just about. If you see it, go the other way fast. The cobra will most out of your way, the Krait will not!
