This is so effin sad. I wish I could have given him a hug and tell him that he was worth it and loved by so many people he had no clue did. I would have tried to make him feel accepted and equal to everyone else. Rest in peace Chris. You are loved and you are in a much better place. Shawn, stay strong and I commend you for being with someone so special.

I have watched your episode of Intervention so many times. I am so sorry for your loss. I am saying this as both a gay individual and a recovering drug addict. I can't begin to comprehend what you are going through, but I wish you all the strength in the world. Please continue to do what you can to reach out to those around you.

This story is so very, very sad. I watched it over and over again. Shawn, Chris was very blessed (not lucky) to have you in his life. You were a soldier - stood by him right up to the very end. I admire you for that. I cried and cried like a baby when the intervention was taking place. It was like I was in the room with you guys. He looked so great while he was in rehab and his future looked promising. Just very sad that he lost his battle. However, he is finally at peace. RIP Chris....you are gone but not forgotten. Your story touched the hearts of many.
