There's a Land Rover in the background at 7:16 - they were't invented until after the war. Thing is, it's such a powerful scene that no-one notices.

Apollo 8 sailed the Moon at Christmas that year, and when Borman, Lovell and Anders read from Genesis we folks on the good earth somehow got some hope back. They came back with the most beautiful photograph of the planet Earth, which still inspires.

The movie featured the one-time James Bond, George Lazenby, as the villain. This song was played over the opening credits as a bloke paraglided down through the skyscrapers of Hong Kong. Spectacular stuff. The rest was mainly thick-ear kung-fu, nothing wrong with that mind you.
