There should definitely be hard limits on PC. It'd improve the game so much. There were small Squad DM maps in BC2 so it doesn't worry me much.

I find it 10 times easier to get good scores and streaks in BC2. But I've played that game for so long now that I find it boring no matter how good it is. BF3 seems a lot more frustrating but I'll wait till I've had more practice and the game has been patched a couple more times before I pass jud...

In every multiplayer game that ever came out people love choke point maps with too many players. On CS it was de_dust. In Total Annihilation it was Big Divide II. They like the predictability.

Can't quite see the appeal of collecting PAL games with the predominantly black and white manuals but I suppose it makes more sense than trying to get all the Japanese ones many of which you wouldn't be able to play without learning the language.

If you go into that you have to get into the "what is art?" debate which is fantastically annoying. I don't care really. @AfrikanGod1 there was some talk of him releasing a single on there like 2 years ago. He used be on the forum all the time doing the beatbattles like 6 years ago.

It's like watching a Quake video with all this jumping. I miss the BC2 knife.

@HoosierLoser everybody likes those machines most but they cost more to produce, there's more stuff to break and more unique parts to replace so operators aren't exactly jumping at them.

They should keep it over beats like the old days.

Lil Wayne is someone to be admired in pop music (although his output for the last couple of years has been weaker) in that he puts out something extremely weird like Tha Carter III and it still sells a ton. Most million sellers these days are extremely conservative.

Anybody who thinks this game is hard never tried to finish Micromachines 1 and 2. Serious memorisation required.

I really miss BC2 knives. The animation is cool the 1st time you do it but they should have confined it to the single player because standing still for a second and a half leaves you like a sitting duck.

I'd say the reason it didn't get ported was perhaps the number of unique sprites. Would have been a ridiculously huge cartridge. It wasn't the most complex scrolling fighter in the world either so probably best left in the arcade.

@annythepip that's why retro game stores suck. They think games that sort millions of copies are R4R€. There's one near me has unboxed Pokemon yellow for like 40 euros. That kind of thing should be dirt cheap.

Bad Lands was the futuristic one I couldn't remember. Another game is a similar style is Super Skidmarks. I'd agree with Dazzy though that Rock & Roll Racing is king.

It was pretty much like Spin is now. Just plays the hits with the minimum of talk. Good when you're 9 years old but I soon grew out of it. There was a period around 93 or somewhere like that they went heavy on the adult contemporary so it was mostly Celine Dion and Mariah and shit for housewives ...

If the google search engine is anything to go by soon what you'll see will be more influenced by social factors (who you follow on G+) and your geographic location. Hopefully that'll make things more democratic.
