@sportsguruisme nope the re-configuration was from the owner at the time ,They had Texas being built at the time also Las Vegas so Atlanta had to keep up,If you look at the fall race her you can see the bulldozers ready to work .

One Jag One Ford Probe (was also used to set a closed road course land speed record) and One Corvette Which at the time was owned by Rick Hendrick .Yes the same guy from Nascar and he also drove the car a few times.

That #3 Car is driven by Jeff Green,This was Dale Sr first year not running the Busch races.Chad Little was hurt during this wreck ,He had to pretty much leave the series until 96 when he won at Daytona fist race back,After have is right leg broken in 3 spots plus his hip....
