I'm sure it's because of their culture, but I wish they'd smile more. It makes me uncomfortable to see everyone so serious, especially Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. I subconsciously interpret that as something being wrong.

I guess it's because both make people go "wtf", or because they seem to strive so hard to break the mold or be unconventional. From what I know, though, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is just run-of-the-mill Japanese stuff, just cuter than most. Lady Gaga is more shocking, being Western.

Her videos aren't very expensive, are they? The clothes are probably the only high-budget part.

Meh. It's so sloppy. Meltdown is so well done, and this one hasn't any time put into it beyond the minimal amount necessary to make a rape video. If at least the sound was good and the video well-edited, it would have been interesting.
