Thanks! :D Yeah, the Whirlpool was 3 years 11days old, there was that much wrong with it that we bought the Samsung, and it was going to be delivered at the end of the week. We were expecting the Whirlpool to last until Thursday, to be taken out for Friday, but it died on Sunday evening, when it flooded the utility room, so out it went. VRT is Vibration Reduction Technology. Or, VRT Plus as Samsung call it. Basically around the drum there are ball bearings at the front, and when the machine starts to unbalance, they move to the opposite side if you know what I mean? They stop the imbalance at higher speeds, and together with the Quiet Drive Motor, it makes for an extremely quiet spin! :D
