Get a grip fans...............this was so below her best. I loved many of her songs too...........but she messed her own voice up. Blame Bobby all you want. He was the one I thought would be dead by now!

@GroubFuge I do like Dolly's version better, but I do have to admit that Whitney did a great job with the song! And Dolly liked it! Dolly wrote it and knew it better than anyone, even Whitney. But like it or not, the public will always associate the song with Whitney.

I was addicted to the 1988 Olympics............and while I was very well aware of Whitney, if I had never heard of her before or since, I'll always remember this song! And that voice!

@avengerspeel Madonna may not be the most talented artist of all time, or even close to the top ten of the modern age, but she does have singing & dancing abilities. Maybe the dancing isn't as good as it was 25 years ago, but that's just due to age. And her voice isn't the best but she can sing....
