This channel is dedicated to the great discussions on mantiq(logic), Ilm al-Usul, and other Hawza-level discussions by one of the great scholars of last century, ash-Shaheed Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr(ra).

We would appreciate any honest efforts by the mo'mineen to translate these videos to English and other languages to further benefit the Ummah inshallah.

Shaheed Aytollah Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr(ra) was born in 1935 to a pious family of brilliant Islamic scholars. Baqir as-Sadr was a child prodigy who began giving Islamic lectures at age 10, began studying logic at age 11, and reached the level of ijtihad (being able to deduce laws from the Quran and Sunnah) at age 17, which is almost unheard of. He completed his formal studies (as no Muslim ever really finishes studying Islam) at age 25 and began teaching.

This genius Sadr was well known for his philosophical and logical debunking of Marxism, Communism, Nationalism, Capitalism, and other Western fads and proved that the Islamic solution was the best one. He was the founder of the Islamic Da'wa party, which was a movement which would promote Islamic values and ethics, political awareness, combat secularism, and create an Islamic state in Iraq.

Unfortunately, Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr(ra) died early at the age of 45 at the hands of saddam hussein(la), after undergoing great torture at the hands of the evil dictator.

Shaheed Muhammad Baqir as-Sadr(ra) is remembered today for his brilliant mind, his lifelong fight and service for Islam and the Almighty, and for revolutionizing Islamic thought.

We here at this channel wish to show the world his long-lost discussions of Islamic subjects to benefit the Ummah, inshallah.

As we've said, we would like to get in contact with translating groups to translate these Arabic tapes into different language to benefit others.

Also, there is no copyright on these tapes and we have no problem with people using these tapes on their channels, websites, etc. We don't want any credit; we would just like the knowledge and messages shared by al-Sadr(ra) to be spread.
